The following post makes it sound like nothing's been accomplished. Actually, some stuff has, but it's all been the one step forward, two steps back type. For instance, a good friend who's a judge offered to perform the wedding--wonderful! Unfortunately, she's a judge in Canada. So now, we have to find out how to make it legal for her to perform a wedding in California. If you know the answer to this one, please pass it on.

Note to self: there's a Bridal Fair Sunday, Sept.24th at the Sonoma County Fairgrounds. Things to do there: research dresses, photographers, tuxedos, florists, and invitations.
