Well, I have suffered for my proposal: I went to a bridal fair with Dori on Saturday. Truth be told, it wasn't that bad, though I noticed that I was part of a pitiful minority of people wearing "Groom" stickers; it was mostly the brides-to-be and their mothers and friends.
We took in the fashion show, which gave us plenty of opportunity to make snarky comments about the clothes; ate some wedding cake and catering samples; checked out tuxedos; and best of all, it looks as though we've found a wedding photographer. I've opened negotiations; if we come to a deal, we'll link to her website. The one we picked does portraits as well, which is nice because I need a new business headshot.
